Today, Xiaomi Malaysia has announced the arrival of new midrange devices for the market – the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12S. With a starting price of RM999, here's what you should know about the tech specs and availability.
All these three new Redmi Note 12 series models will be available for purchase from 12 May 2023 on authorised Xiaomi stores, and retailers, as well as on Xiaomi Malaysia's Lazada and Shopee platform stores. To recap some of the highlighted features, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G features a 50MP IMX766 main camera sensor with OIS support and Night Mode 2.0. It's also backed up by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset, a 5000mAh battery with 67W TurboCharging and a 6.67-inch 120Hz Flow AMOLED display with Dolby Vision support.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro also has similar specs as the 5G variant except for using a Snapdragon 732G chipset and 108MP cam. Lastly, the Redmi Note 12S delivers a 6.43-inch 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay with up to 1000nits peak brightness. It uses a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging technology and it's worth mentioning its 180Hz touch sampling rate.
