A few weeks ago, the Redmi Note 13 Pro series was certified on TENAA. Not only did it reveal some specs for the two devices in the series, but it also suggested that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ could launch soon.

Earlier today, Xiaomi confirmed that the launch would be in September 2023. Also, some Redmi Note 13 Pro+ details were posted on Weibo. The teasers confirm the phone will feature a Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset, Samsung ISOCELL HP3 image sensor, and a new High Pixel image engine.

For your info, the ISOCELL HP3 sensor would be for the 200MP main camera. The sensor offers faster autofocus, 8K/30FPS videos, improved low-light performance, and more. Paired with it is the new image engine, which should have enhanced AI capabilities. As for the Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset, this is likely an overclocked variant of the standard Dimensity 7200 with improved performance. Since this phone seems intended for mobile photography, we can also expect it to have better image processing.

Honestly, it's hard to say how much of an upgrade the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ would be over its predecessor. But if you want a Redmi smartphone and have skipped previous ones, this upcoming model could be a good option. What do you think?
