Redmi has officially announced that the Redmi Note 15 series will be unveiled on August 21, 2025, during a special launch event in China. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, only the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ has been confirmed for introduction, though it is expected that the Redmi Note 15 and Redmi Note 15 Pro will also be revealed on the same day.
Refined design with symmetrical curves
The design of the Note 15 Pro+ was teased with a concept that closely resembles the Redmi Note 14 Pro, featuring a rectangular camera bump with a 2×2 sensor layout.
One of its standout elements is the symmetrical micro-curved design on both the front and back, a first for the series.
According to Redmi, this required advanced glass processing techniques and significant investment, making it a feature more commonly found in flagship devices.
The Note 15 Pro+ will also feature Xiaomi’s Crystal Glass on the front for improved screen durability, while the back is constructed with lightweight fibreglass that is resistant to impacts and shocks.
Expected features and rumours
While official technical specifications are still under wraps, early leaks suggest that the Note 15 Pro+ may include a 1.5K resolution curved OLED display, a 50MP main camera, and a 7000mAh battery. If confirmed, this would position the device as one of the most feature-rich smartphones in the Note lineup to date.
