On the Xiaomi Facebook page, the Xiaomi published a photo with a giant 7 with the brand Redmi on it. It may likely be the global version of the Redmi Note 7 as the 48MP camera is similar to the Chinese version of the device.

In the same photo it says that there will be a “New product launch” with the date 06.03.2019 and the location Madrid, Spain on it. The photo is captioned with “At long last, soon there will be #48MPforEveryone” which likely confirms that the device will be equipped with a 48MP camera.

So far the Chinese version of the smartphone has tech specs of 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage or another variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. It features the Snapdragon 660 chipset and 4000mAh battery capacity. Besides that, it has a 6.3 inch waterdrop notch display housing a 13MP selfie camera and on the rear is a dual camera setup with 48MP sensor and a 5MP depth sensor.

So far the price for the China version is ~RM999 but we may be seeing different prices and specs on the global version of the device altogether. We’re not too sure if it may really be the Redmi Note 7 but we don’t believe it will be the Redmi 7 launched in Spain but do take this article with a grain of salt. What do you think?
