As mentioned, the Redmi Pad 2 is an entry-level Android tablet targeted at general users. It has a MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra, a lower mid-range chipset like the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. It also has 4GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage, plus support for extra storage via MicroSD cards.
Besides that, the Redmi Pad 2 comes with a solid 11-inch IPS LCD. This screen has a 2560x1600 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 600 nits peak brightness. On the camera side, it has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. A 9000mAh battery lets you enjoy watching videos or playing low-end games for many hours. There's even a 4G variant of the Redmi Pad 2, so you can stream YouTube or Netflix even without access to a WiFi hotspot.

The Redmi Pad 2 is officially available tomorrow (20 June 2025) in Xiaomi stores. It can also be purchased from the Xiaomi Malaysia website, Xiaomi Shopee store, and Xiaomi Lazada store.
