Besides the 12T smartphone series, Xiaomi is expected to debut a new tablet under the Redmi brand, which is the Redmi Pad. However, the tablet is said to only arrive in October rather than this week with the new smartphones. Today, a photo has leaked and revealed the whole back design of the upcoming tablet.
An Instagram user named Xiaomi Kuwait is the one who posted the photo. The Redmi Pad appears with the Mint Green option, and the design is in line with the renders that came up earlier. Besides the green option, there are also the Graphite Grey and Moonlight Silver. They could have two memory configurations, 3/64GB and 4/64GB.
The Redmi Pad is suggested to pack an 11.2-inch LCD, MIUI Pad 13 based on Android 12, a 7,800mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging and an 8MP camera on the rear without a flash. Furthermore, the screen resolution is described as "2K" and may have quad speakers. It will reportedly get powered by a MediaTek MT8781 chipset, a mid-range chip with 2x Cortex-A76 (2.2GHz) and 6x Cortex-A55 (2.0GHz) and a Mali-G57 MC2.
