About two weeks back, Xiaomi announced that it would launch a new Redmi TV soon. Well, the Redmi Smart TV X 2022 made its debut yesterday night and it's got some useful features. Let's take a look at what the new model has to offer.
According to the announcement, the Redmi Smart TV X 2022 comes in two sizes - 55-inch and 65-inch. These 4K TVs (3840×2160) come with a unique dual 120Hz refresh rate, which is allegedly both native and based on MEMC. They also come with a 4ms ultra-low latency, 6.5ms response time, 10-bit colour depth, and more.
In terms of design, the Redmi Smart TV X 2022 comes with an all-metal frame. It not only looks sturdy but is also slim and elegant, which looks great when placed in a living room. It also comes with four built-in speakers for an audio output of 2x12.5W, as well as ports for two HDMI 2.0 (eARC), one HDMI 2.1, one Ethernet, and more.
Xiaomi has set the prices for the 55-inch and 65-inch sizes at 2999 yuan (~RM1950) and 3499 yuan (~RM2275), respectively.
