Besides launching the 14T Series and the MIX Flip, Xiaomi also launched several other products in Malaysia this week. Among these are entry-level wearables under its subsidiary Redmi, the Redmi Watch 5 Lite and Redmi Watch 5 Active.
Starting with the Watch 5 Lite, the smartwatch features a 1.6-inch AMOLED with a 401 x 502 pixels resolution that sports Always-on-Display and Palm Touch to Sleep features. It also has built-in GPS, 5ATM with 50 metres of water resistance and up to 18 days of battery life.
You can also sync calendars, manage tasks and get reminders on the Watch 5 Lite with Xiaomi HyperOS, as well as use the virtual assistant with the built-in Alexa. Redmi Watch 5 Lite comes in 2 different colours, Black and Light Gold, and is priced at RM259 in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, the Watch 5 Active features a 2-inch IPS LCD with a 320 x 385 pixels resolution and 500 nits peak brightness. Other features include Clear+ calling, up to 18 days of battery, IPX8 splash and sweat resistance and is built tough with a metallic zinc alloy body for impact resistance.
Voice-activated Alexa is also available for you to control your daily tasks. In Malaysia, the Watch 5 Active is offered in Midnight Black and Matte Silver colour options and is priced at RM199.
