While Redmi is certainly known for manufacturing smartphones, they didn't shy away from trying other product lines either. It was only last week that we learn they are trying out a new RedmiBook and just recently, they just announced their PC monitor - the Redmi Display 1A - to the public for the first time ever.
Like most monitors, the Redmi Display 1A comes with the standard 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The screen panel measurement itself is not that bad, measuring at 23.8-inch (diagonally) with the side bezels at just 7.3mm. On the other hand, the peak brightness reaches up to 250nits with a contrast ratio of 1000:1.

You can set up multiple monitors with this model if you want to via HDMI connectors but for some reason, the Redmi Display 1A also includes a rather outdated VGA port considering that we are now in 2020 (who still uses VGA ports?). Perhaps because of its budget-friendly design, that's why they included the VGA port for the target market.
For its price, it's currently worth 599 Yuan (~RM364) which is super affordable. It's not known if Xiaomi Malaysia plans to bring this in but if they do, it will definitely sell like hotcakes. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
