In response to the launch of the OPPO Find X3 Pro last night, Redmi's Product Director Wang Teng said that he's glad to see other smartphone brands adopt the "microscope" camera that enables users to shoot macro images. For your information, the telephoto macro feature was actually first introduced by Xiaomi last year, and it looks like it will be on a Redmi smartphone soon.

Other than that, Wang has also added a picture taken with the feature and asked his followers to guess what is in it. It might have directly suggested that Redmi will upgrade the camera department of its upcoming smartphone by using a "microscope" camera. By the way, if you want to know what is really in the picture, it's said to be sodium glutamate crystals.

Besides that, the source also mentions that the smartphone could be a high-end device with a competitive price. For now, not much information has been revealed. It is worth mentioning that the previous Redmi K30 Pro comes with a telephoto macro lens that supports 3cm of focusing distance. Therefore, are we going to see something even more impressive than that from the brand?
