After being in the rumour mills for a while, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2-powered Redmi Note 12 Turbo was finally released in China. There was also a surprise during the launch yesterday as Redmi also announced a special Harry Potter Edition of the device.
Featuring symbols and artwork from the popular series, the special edition also comes with a customised theme, several accessories and even a Marauder’s map instructions. According to the official Redmi Weibo account, the back of the device sports the iconic Hogwarts logo and several other designs from the fantasy wizardry world.
The accessories that come with the special edition include a sim card ejector tool with a 9 3/4 station logo, stickers, the aforementioned Marauder’s map instructions and a customised case.
The Note 12 Turbo Harry Potter Edition shares the same specs as the vanilla Note 12 Turbo and is priced at CNY2399 or ~RM1533 for the sole 12/256GB variant. It is currently only available in China, with availability in other regions not yet revealed by Redmi.
