RedmiBook Pro 2022 release: Intel Core-i7 12650H, Nvidia RTX 2050 and 15-inch 90Hz display from ~RM3505

After releasing a slew of devices recently, Xiaomi is showing no sign of slowing down. In fact, not only has the Chinese tech giant refreshed almost the entirety of its smartphone lineup, Xiaomi also released the latest iteration of its RedmiBook Pro laptop series!

Just yesterday, Xiaomi capped off a big event in China with the release of the 15-inch RedmiBook Pro 2022 laptop. During the same event, Xiaomi also launched the Redmi K50, K50 Pro and K40 smartphones, as well as the Redmi Max 100-inch TV.

For the RedmiBook Pro 2022, Xiaomi updated the laptop lineup with the new 12th gen Intel Core processors. You can configure it to have either the Core-i7 12650H or the Core-i5 12450H. A version with an AMD 6000H processor will also be launched later this year.

The RedmiBook Pro 15 also features a metal unibody design with a 15-inch IPS LCD with a 3200x2000px resolution. The screen also has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio.

Furthermore, the laptop offers 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 storage as standard across the lineup. As for GPU, only the higher end models are equipped with an Nvidia RTX 2050 with 4GB GDDR6 RAM, with the baseline model only equipped with Intel UHD graphics.

Completing the specs list for the RedmiBook Pro 2022 are a 72Wh battery capable of 100W charging, Windows 11 pre-installed, 2 Thunderbolt ports, 2 USB-A 3.2 ports, an HDMI 2.0 connector, audio jack and SD card reader. The laptop starts from CNY5299 or ~RM3505 for the baseline Core-i5 variant while the Core-i7 variant with the RTX 2050 starts from CNY7199 or ~RM4760.
