On 3 December, HP showed off 5 brand new premium PCs that feature exclusive form factors and sleek industrial designs, high-resolution displays and audio by Bang & Olufsen. All five PCs are very lightweight, built with powerful Intel processors, packed with nearly twice the battery life and runs on Windows 10.

Here are the five PC’s that were revealed:-

HP Spectre x2 (RM3999)

This thin and light tablet provides the very best of design and productivity together, the Spectre x2‘s tablet only weighs 850g and is just 8mm thin. If clipped together with the keyboard via magnetic connector it will be 1.2kg, the Spectre x2 is the thinnest 2-in-1 PC HP has ever made measuring in 13.15mm thick. Behind the tablet, stands a U-shaped kickstand design giving more room for the battery lasting 10 hours.

For productivity, it offers a Precision TouchPad (PTP) technology that gives users a smooth experience when browsing in the Edge browser. This goes hand in hand with the touchscreen display should the user use an active stylus - the HP Active Pen for writing, drawing and navigation. And of course, all tablets must have cameras so the Spectre x2 has not two but three cameras: 1) a HP Truevision FHD 5MP front facing camera; 2) HP Truevision HD 8MP rear facing camera and 3) Intel® RealSense™ Camera R200 to capture and enable 3D experiences.

Star Wars Special Edition Notebook (RM3999)

The force is strong with this one, the Star War Special Edition notebook has a battle-worn design inspired by the Galactic Empire faction with the iconic Stormtroopers on the keyboard deck. The keyboard and touchpad design are red backlit and equipped with the X-Wing Star Fighter Guidance System respectively, screen display is 15.6-inch in full HD and the battery can last 7 hours.

The “dark force” under the hood is powered by a sixth generation Intel® Core™ i5 and i7 processors. Bang & Olufsen play audio and dual speakers in it too, which will give users a distinct sound when playing games, listening to music or watching movies on it. What’s more, users can opt for an optional slim, sleek and refined Star Wars Special Edition Wireless Mouse with Darth Vader on it and a Star Wars Special Edition Sleeve.

New Limited Edtion HP Spectre x360 (RM4999)

The new HP Spectre x360 is a limited edition that celebrates Bang & Olufsen’s 90th anniversary, designed to be ultra-thin in Ash Silver with Copper colour, long battery life up to 12 hours, fast boot times and great Wi-Fi connectivity. It sports a powerful 6th Gen Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, 13.3-inch Full HD display, with a lightning fast SSD up to 256GB. Weighing 1.48kg and 15.9 mmthin only, users can expect swift transitions between notebook mode for work, stand mode for viewing entertainment, tent mode for touchscreen entertainment, or tablet mode for on the go. The HP Spectre x360 is responsible for establishing HP as a leader in the premium category.

HP ENVY Notebook (RM3699)

The metal chassis HP ENVY Notebook is suitable for those who are looking for productivity and portability. With its 13.3 inch diagonal display and Quad HD+ resolution, thin and light design, long battery life and the latest Intel processors for the user to do more tasks faster. The notebook has an elevated lift hinge to give users a more stable and comfortable typing and viewing experience. The lift hinge also provides better air circulation under the device along with its dual fans, keeping it cool and quiet. 

Users on both ends in a web chat can enjoy the clear sound as it packs a HP TrueVision Webcam feature + microphones with noise cancellation technology, same goes to the audio speakers which are tuned by Bang & Olufsen. In addition, the ENVY Notebook has a fingerprint sensor that enables Windows Hello which allows the user to login to their PC with a swipe of a finger instantly.

HP Pavilion gaming Notebook (RM3499)

HP have not forgotten about the gamers, the Pavilion carries a huge 15.6-inch diagonal FHD anti-glare LED-backlit with 1920 x 1080 resolution display and a beautiful green backlit keyboard that gamers recognize as a dedicated gaming device. Hardware is boosted offering powerful processing power (Intel Core i7-6700HQ and i5-6300HQ with Intel HD Graphics 530, 2.6GHz, up to 3.5GHz, 6MB cache, 4 cores and 2.4GHz, up to 3.5GHz, 6MB cache, 4 cores respectively), and a 4GB DDR3L NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphic card that is not to be fooled around. Gamers can expect the speed they need even with the most memory intensive applications with up to 16 GB of system memory.

They hope that with their latest technologies such as Intel RealSense and or 6th Gen Intel Core processors which are available now in the latest line of computers such as the five exciting new models launched by HP, customers can now truly enjoy an immersive computing experience.
