Remember AirSelfie? It is a tiny, flying selfie camera, that features a 5MP camera, enabling it to take photos as well as record videos from up to 20 metres. It is powered by four propellers surrounded with safety guards, yet compact enough to slot inside of a smartphone case. It is now on sale to the general public, with the company behind the Kickstarter project in process of delivering the gadget to its initial backers.

The AirSelfie is fitted with a 30mm-equivalent lens that offers 5MP stills and Full HD (1080p) videos in 30fps. There is a 4GB memory card built into the drone for storing images, that can either be directly transfer using USB, or through a 2.4GHz WiFi network the drone produces, which also serves to control the drone using an app available for both iOS and Android. A maximum of eight consecutive photos can be taken at a single burst.

On a full charge powered by its 260mAh battery, the AirSelfie can be used for up to three minutes of flight. When not in use, the AirSelfie can be housed in a phone case (that also acts as a charger) designed for most of the popular smartphones, including iPhone (6/6S, 7/7 Plus), Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Google Pixel. There is also an accessory power bank that charges it to 50% in ten minutes, and a full charge in 40 minutes. The power bank will have enough power to charge it up to 20 times before running out of charge
