At the end of February 2020, Samsung launched the Galaxy Buds+ in Malaysia. It hasn't been long since then, but rumours of the next generation of Galaxy Buds has surfaced. A new rumour claims that Samsung is working on a new true wireless earbuds model that could be launched with the Galaxy Note 20 series later this year.

According to Winfuture, the new earbuds model will be different from the two previous Galaxy Buds. While the latter two bore the code name "Popcorn", the new one will go with "Beans". This seems to suggest what the shape and design of the earbuds would look like. If you look at the leaked render, it does look fairly similar to a bean, which we found quite amusing.

Allegedly, inside sources have mentioned that earbuds will have the model number SM-R180. Each earbud is expected to have two small speakers, one for treble and another for bass. They're also supposed a better fit for people with smaller ears. Besides that, the SM-R180 model is expected to come with several microphones, though we don't know if it'll come with active noise cancelling.

We are unsure when this model will launch, but it should be on the same day as the Galaxy Note 20 series launch if it's coming this year. Of course, this is currently an unconfirmed rumour, so do take it with a grain of salt. With that said, what are your thoughts on the new design? Do you think it would fit you better?
