A few days ago, it was rumoured that the first Apple event in 2021 would be held on 23 March. The event is said to bring several products including the AirTags, new iPad, and third-generation AirPods. Today, someone has retrieved the renders of the upcoming AirPods showing a design that matches previous speculations.

According to the renders, the next-gen AirPods feature shorter stems that make them look like the current AirPods Pro. Meanwhile, the charging case has also shrunk to a smaller size. Despite looking similar to the AirPods Pro, it is claimed that the new AirPods would lack some of the 'Pro' features, and one of them is the Active Noise Cancellation.

Other than falling in line with previous rumours, the renders also look the same compared to the AirPods that appeared in the alleged real-life images. For now, let's just wait patiently for Apple to make an announcement regarding the event.
