It seems like this year is when every other phone company starts coming out with their clamshell foldable display smartphone as a render and design schematics of the vivo X Flip appear. While we’re sincerely hoping for a more affordable Malaysia price, the design indicates a fairly wide colour touchscreen on the outside below the camera hump.
Other tech specs weren’t mentioned but the camera hump in the render appears to have quad rear cameras along with a column of LED flash and ZEISS branding. Design schematics say otherwise though as the camera hump only has 2 cameras but they also mention that the front display could be 682 pixels while the foldable display might be a Full HD 1080p resolution.

These schematics don’t appear to show any front camera though, so it could be vivo’s way to cut down costs. It shouldn’t be an issue if vivo does do this as the external display and rear cameras should be more than enough for most selfies. However, this is all conjecture and estimates, so do take these with a good pinch of salt.
We’d be fairly interested in the vivo X Flip if it was priced below RM2000 or around there, but what about you? How much would you buy the vivo X Flip for? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com
