It seems like Apple has given its best for the iPhone 14 Pro's cameras this year. According to the latest report, the next iPhone Pro would not deliver any huge upgrades in the camera department.

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 15 Pro models will not get an 8P lens this year. The 8P refers to the number of lenses a camera uses, and they're the plastic elements that help the camera improve picture quality and reduce distortion. Although it's not the kind of camera spec everyone would be interested in, it's still sad knowing it won't make it to the new iPhone.

However, it might not be so big of a deal, as Apple has gradually increased the number of camera lenses over the years to improve the iPhone's photo and video abilities. Therefore, the company should still end up doing it, but not for the iPhone 15. A separate rumour says that the iPhone 15 Ultra could get a periscope camera that has long existed on some Android flagships, so this might be something we can look forward to in the next-generation iPhones.
