Getting robbed is one of the worst things that can happen to anyone. However, what if the robbers decided to give back your phone because it wasn't an iPhone? Well, that was exactly what happened to a couple recently.
According to ABC7 news, the man told his wife to meet her outside of their apartment in the wee hours. The moment the man parked his car, two armed robbers came and took everything they had, even the keys to a truck. They were almost gone but stopped for a while and gave back the man's Android phone.
Quoting the lady's statement, "They basically looked at that phone and was like 'Oh, that's an Android? We don't want this. I thought it was an iPhone,'". It was truly a bizarre moment but still, the robbery made an impact and affected the woman's livelihood, as she relies on the truck for Uber Eats and Instacart.
It's not the first time that we read news of robbers and thieves not wanting an Android phone. When it comes to value, the iPhone still holds highly even after years no matter how many people make fun of it. Well, I suppose the good thing about having an Android phone? Just saying.
