Yesterday, Roborock Malaysia launched the Roborock S8 series, namely the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, Roborock S8+ and the Roborock S8. The new robot vacuum models are available from today onwards, with a starting price of RM2699.
The top-of-the-line model, S8 Pro Ultra features a new RockDock Ultra system which provides automatic mop cleaning, dust emptying and refilling, and self-cleaning. To prevent mould and odours on the mop pad and the dock, there is also a warm air drying function that's integrated. Additionally, the VibraRise 2.0 Mopping System on the Pro and Plus model vibrates 3000 times per minute to remove stains from the floors.
All new models also feature suction power up to 6000Pa and a new system with two rubber roller brushes (previous models only had one). Moreover, there's a new dual rubber roller brush system to improve dirt pickup and is more effective in resisting hair tangles. The brush on the S8 Pro Ultra can also automatically lift up to 6mm under the mop-only mode and when returning to the dock. This is to prevent cross-contamination in both instances.
The Roborock S8 series will be available to purchase at AiHome stores in IOI City Mall, One Utama, Mid Valley Megamall, Setapak Central Mall, Sunway Velocity and iGadgets Pavilion Bukit Jalil, as well as on its official online store on Shopee and Lazada.
