In this on-going pandemic season, we have yet another free game to claim and this time, Rocket League will be free-to-play on Epic Games Store. Those who already have the game on their Steam account can also play the game with their friends from Epic Games Store, as a cross-platform feature will be implemented.

The game version will be the same on both Steam and Epic Games Store platform, however, if you plan to get the game on Steam, it won't be available anymore since it's moving on to the latter. While there's no date yet on when Rocket League will move out, veterans who have been playing the game will be rewarded with a Legacy status and a Faded Cosmos Boost. This also includes all the inventories that the players have earned throughout the years.

This looks like a fun game to play with your friends but like most free games, it would probably just sit in our game library collecting digital dust (lol). The game should be free in August as that's when summertime comes in the West. Stay tuned for more trending game news at TechNave.com.
