Looks like the wait for GTA 6 continues. Recently, Rockstar Games confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) will now be released on November 19, 2026. So, what should you know about it?
This is not the first time
For your information, this is the second time the launch of what is reportedly the most expensive game in history has been delayed. Previously, it was pushed back to May 26, 2026, from the original launch date of late 2025.
Moreover, Rockstar said GTA 6 needed to be delayed to further improve the game, but the quality was not what players expected. With this announcement, players have been waiting for more than 13 years for the sequel to GTA 5, which was released on September 17, 2013.
Throughout the game's development, GTA 6 faced various problems, such as the source code being stolen after the company was hacked. Rockstar recently came under fire for allegedly firing dozens of employees who were believed to have tried to form a labour union within the company. Rockstar said they were fired for leaking information about games in development.
