Sad to say that we may have seen the last of the Lumia phones with the disbanding of the smartphone division in Microsoft. However the team was absorbed into the devices division so we may not see the last of the Microsoft designed smartphones. A new leaked render may give us some clues what we will see soon for the Surface Phone.

As we previously covered, the upcoming Surface Phone is expected to be targeted at professionals and will come in multiple guises. It should also have the upcoming Snapdragon 830 chipset alongside multiple storage options, all the way up to 500GB if the reports are to be believed. The new render now shows a design that is in line with the idea of a professional phone outlook.

It looks very not flashy and subtle in its lines when compared to other flagship designs. It also looks to have a USB type C connector just like the Lumia 950 so we can expect it to be usable with the Smart Dock for Continuum. It may feature some form of Windows Hello implementation if it is targeted at the professional level as well.

As more information of the Surface Phone appears, we will be sharing it right here on TechNave so stay tuned.
