While the HTC One continues to gather more and more steam, the company is reportedly looking into developing more Windows Phone models, in this case one known as the HTC Tiara. Early specs include:

  • 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor
  • 4.3-inch, WVGA Super LCD2 (800 x 480 pixel resolution)
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB storage
  • 8MP rear camera + 1.6MP front camera
  • 1800 mAh battery
  • Windows Phone 8 GDR2

In terms of specs alone, the HTC Tiara sounds remarkably like the HTC One SV with the only differences between the two being that the One SV runs Android and has a 5MP rear camera. Rumours as to when the HTC Tiara may come out point towards the middle of May. While it is still technically rumours, it has already been reported to be one of the first Windows Phone 8 devices to be featured by Sprint. The name HTC Tiara may actually be different by the time it is released but it has been noted that it will be priced lower than the Samsung Ativ S (which is priced locally in Malaysia at around RM1699).
