Rumour: Samsung Tizen Smartphones Leaks and Tizen Store Announced

Samsung's Tizen mobile OS smartphones have been rumoured to arrive for quite some time. The Samsung  GT-I8805 Redwood and GT-I8800 Melius were initially estimated to arrive in September but we are now seeing the Samsung Redwood for the first time in leaked images.

Samsung seem to be leaking stuff left and right as the Samsung GT-I8800 Redwood looks to be coming from Samsung's own website. The smartphone is aimed for the higher-end market and looks to be fully integrated with S features normally associated with the Samsung Galaxy S4. This includes the ability to use S-Voice where you can say "Hi Tizen" to wake the smartphone instead of "Hi Galaxy".

In related news, the Tizen Store also got announced at the recent Tizen Developer Conference. This news is less useful for normal users unless you want to browse and see what is available. However, developers looking to develop apps for the Tizen OS can start now and submit their apps to the store here. According to the Tizen team, app evaluation will only take up to three days.
