Some recent leaks of documents from the Federal Communications Commission, USA (FCC) has shown us some interesting news from HMD, the current license holders for big brand name, Nokia. It appears that their upcoming big-boy flagship, the Nokia 9, may lose the 4GB RAM option.

The document states that the Nokia 9 with the 4GB RAM codenamed TA-1004 has been apparently replaced with a new TA-1012. Also mentioned is that the newly implemented TA-1012 will have the exact same design and circuitry as the TA-1004. This could mean that it is the same phone model but different specs.

To some, this might be grave news but this could pave the way for the ridiculous 8GB RAM option as the Nokia 9 was also speculated to have that option on GeekBench as well under the codename "Unknown Heart". There has also been speculation that there might be a 6GB RAM option coming along too.

Keep in mind that these are very big rumours but rumours nevertheless. There is no way to tell the authenticity or what the documents truly mean so do take them with a really big pinch of salt. The 5.3-inch display Nokia 9 is expected to be priced at a Malaysian equivalent of around RM3000 but make sure to stay tuned to TechNave.com for the latest scoops and Malaysian releases.
