Ever wished that your camera can look exactly like what you see in real life? Well, it seems that the wishful thinking is coming sooner as expected, as Samsung is already working on a technology that allows the user's contact lens to take pictures via with a built-in camera that's controlled by blinking.

According to SamMobile, "Gear Blink" has already been trademarked by Samsung in both South Korea and the United States, and it certainly looks like it's referring to the contact lens camera. What's more, the new patent application is shown with a tiny display, a camera, an antenna, and several sensors which need to be paired with an external device (a smartphone) for the image.
Samsung is not the first one to innovate such technology, as Google has also patented a smart contact lens with a built-in camera back in April 2014. In addition, Samsung claims their device can produce better image quality than Google Glass.
So what do you think of it? Are you looking forward to the future of smart contact lenses? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more news at Technave.com!
