We are just half a month away from MWC 2017 and we can sure expect several companies showing off their new smartphones, one of them is Sony and it was reported that they would prepare at least five devices, with the newest flagship among one of them featuring a 4K display and a 23MP camera.

However, we will be looking into a midrange smartphone today, as according to GFXBench it appears that an unknown device code named Sony Pikachu was spotted. The Pikachu phone here is reported to feature an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 SoC, powered by a 3GB RAM, carrying a 5-inch 720p display and a 21MP camera at the back as well. For a midrange device, it doesn’t seem too shabby.
There’s also another unknown Sony phone with the code name BlancBright, this one is reported to be the successor of Xperia Z5 Premium. We will be keeping an eye on that, so stay tuned for more Sony news at Technave.com.
