Just in case you were distracted by the Bersih weekend, Pokemon Sun and Moon were also recently launched and so far the 7th generation game series have been getting good feedback from the gaming community and critics alike. And that's not all, because according to a report, it's said that there will be a third version called Pokemon Star coming and it will be made for the Nintendo Switch next year.

Quoting from the source by Eurogamer, they said “the game is already well into development." and to support their claim they manage to screenshot a video from the Sun and Moon reveal at the 1.45 mark, which says it's a HD model of a Pikipek (a new Pokemon bird) for the Nintendo Switch.

Game Freak, the makers of the Pokemon series (not to be confused with Niantic's Pokemon Go) used to make a third variation back then, starting with Pokemon Yellow following the success hit of Red and Blue, then Crystal for Gold and Silver, Emerald for Ruby and Sapphire, and Platinum for Diamond and Pearl. Likewise, Pokemon Star will serve as the updated version of Sun and Moon, probably with the same map, slight changes to the story, and even previous Pokemon that couldn't make it to the current generation.

If Pokemon Star does come on the Switch, will you be getting yourself one? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned for more news at Technave.com.
