The latest Android OS, Android O has been in development for quite a while now, with 4 developer beta builds already out for early adopters to tinker around it. However we have a reason to believe that the coveted Android upgrade is closer than we think.
Tech pundit David Ruddock has dropped a bomb that the Android 8.0 may be made available to Google Pixel devices starting next week. Mr. Ruddock has been stressing this since June and has cited a source which he has guaranteed that is reliable.
If Android O were to be released in a week’s time, it would be consistent with last year’s release of Android 7 Nougat on Nexus devices which was pushed out on 22 August 2016. Remember though, these are all just rumours so do remember to take them with a pinch of salt.
As for what could the ‘O’ stand for? Nobody knows yet but my money is still on Oreo. Yay team Oreo. With that, we are just going to have be patient for the official announcement, but it may be just a week away so we won’t have to wait too long. So make sure to stay tuned to TechNave.com to get first hand news.
