Today, in a new article by Wall Street Journal (WSJ) there's a report going on about Apple is already working on a cellular network connectivity and a faster processor for the rumoured Apple Watch 2, which is speculated to be released this year.
According to WSJ, the cellular network connectivity could bring some benefits to the user as currently a lot of them are not so keen on the current watch to rely heavily on the tethered iPhone to provide basic iMessage and calling functionality. As for the faster processor, Apple's watchOS 2 is already allowing the apps to be opened quickly and smoother instead of having to transmit data back and forth between the iPhone; so it's not really a surprising move if the Watch 2 will have that.
Besides that, one report has speculated that the new Watch 2 could be 40% thinner and will launch in June. In tallying with KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, he mentioned that the wearable will focus on internal improvements; but also stated that it will launch together with the iPhone 7 this fall.
Do you know anyone who is using the current Apple Watch? Is Apple doing the right move on implementing a cellular network connectivity and a faster processor? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned for more news at Technave.com!
