If you happen to be an avid Apple fan, chances are you already know about the rumours of Apple planning to release three iPhone variants next year, the first two are the standard 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch model with an LCD screen, while the newer one iPhone will feature an OLED screen. But first, let's start with the 3D photographing rumour.

Apple is said to be working with LG on a new dual camera module that's capable of capturing 3D photography effects, according to a brief report in The Korea Economic Daily. Dubbed as the LG Innotek, the sources said:

"Apple is now studying how to apply its 3D camera technology into LG Innotek's smartphone camera," adding, "Since LG Innotek also has its own 3D camera and related technologies, such joint efforts will likely to bear fruit sometime within next year."

To back up the claim, it's said that Apple bought LinX Imaging company last year. With that, they also took ownership of LinX's enhanced camera technology, which has 3D depth mapping and lighting enhancements. Would this technology be perfect for Apple's Portriat mode in their camera? Who knows.

On the other hand, according to our favourite information leaker, KGI Securities Ming Chi Kuo, he thinks the 4.7-inch will be the new OLED Apple iPhone will account for 50% annual sales for Apple. That's quite an optimistic view for next year, and even believes that the company will ship about 90 million -110 million units between. We even have a leaked image of that unknown iPhone beside the iPhone 7 Plus, which looks smaller and possibly a 5.2-inch model.

How would the OLED iPhone function and the dual-lens capture 3D photographing images remains a mystery, we are still a long way from the 10th Anniversary iPhone next year, so stay tuned for more news at Technave.com.
