Rumours: Apple iPhone 8 leaks reveal another big change

A recent leak from Forbes has given us a deeper look on the overall design of the upcoming 2017 iPhone, the iPhone 8

True, we have seen this design before from previous leaks, revealing the peculiar vertical dual-camera setup and the trendy, near bezel-less screen design. However, Forbes have revealed something that we may have been missing on all this while, a fingerprint sensor location.

Based on these images, it can be seen that the power button is abnormally large. The larger button could be the location of an integrated fingerprint scanner which would explain the lack of a home button.

A side fingerprint will definitely be more functional than a rear-side fingerprint scanner but it is not an entirely novel design. Sony Xperia smartphones have been using this setup for awhile now with good reviews so we can say that maybe this change may be a good one.

Other than that, it is still confirmed that the iPhone 8 will still have its Lightning port but still no signs of a headphone jack.

Regardless, these are again, still rumours so be sure to take them with a pinch of salt and make sure to stay tuned to TechNave.com for the latest iPhone updates.
