Ever since the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were released in September last year, rumours of the 10th Anniversary iPhone has not been stopping until today but it seems to have slowed down now. So with this new juicy Apple iPhone rumours, it’s interesting to see where Apple is going with this.

First up, according to Nikkei, Apple has ordered 70 million OLED displays from - wait for it - Samsung (yup, their rival and supplier at the same time). In fact, Senior Director of IHS Market research firm, David Hseish has claimed that Samsung is preparing as much as 95 million curved OLED displays to Apple.

However, not all the 10th Anniversary iPhones will be using the OLED display. As the rumours go, Apple is reported to released not two but three iPhones this year, with the so-called iPhone 8 as the premium device standing at 5.2-inch, whereas the other will continue in the standard 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch. If this is the case, there’s a good chance that the two models will continue as the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus with LCD panels. But then again, popular KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, stated otherwise as all the iPhones will have OLED. So do take these with a grain of salt.

On top of that, wireless charging is another feature to look forward to, although we are not sure if it will work the same as Samsung’s one. The new iPhones will also continue the IP68 water and dust resistant feature, and might even introduce a more advance facial recognition through a 3D sensor which might only be available on the iPhone 8.

So what do you think? Do you think Apple should just release one iPhone 8 or as a premium edition this year? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more Apple news at TechNave.com.
