According to Japanese blog Mac Otakara, Apple is planning to ship three new iPad Pro variants in the Spring of 2017, the three variants will be based on their size which is 7.9-inch, 9.7-inch and 10.1-inch models.

Citing "reliable sources" from their report, they claimed that the True Tone display and the same 12MP rear iSight camera and True Tone flash will be on the 12.9-inch model, just like the current 9.7-inch iPad Pro. On the other hand, it's said that the 7.9-inch model will be the successor to the iPad mini 4, and will feature a smart connector, True Tone display, four speakers, and a 12MP rear iSight camera with True Tone flash.

These claims should be taken with a grain of salt, although Mac Otakara did prove that Apple would remove the 3.5mm headphone jack (which they did), a new Jet Black colour, and a new pressure-sensitive Home button. What's more, this actually tally with KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who also claimed the same thing back in August.

And of course, the new iPad Pros will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, or would it? Stay tuned for more news at Technave.com.
