Rumours: Apple reportedly switching from aluminum to stainless steel chassis for iPhone 8

Apple rumours back at it again with another round of speculation, with the whole U.S. President-elect Donald Trump who's demanding for local manufacturing issue, Apple might actually switch to another supplier to provide them with a body for the iPhone 8, and that supplier is known as Jabil, which specializes in stainless steel chassis.

Here are some facts about Jabil, it's located in St. Petersburg, Fla., and not only it has a presence in the U.S.A. but even Asia as well such as China and Taiwan - which most of Apple's suppliers are held - in this case, if President-elect Donald Trump continues to push for the matter, Apple could very well turn to Jabil.

Why this seems to be a big deal is because Apple hasn't used a stainless steel body case for their iPhone since iPhone 4s, that's way back in 2011. As you might have heard already, the 10th Anniversary iPhone could very well be a "glass sandwich" design and it's also believed that the body would somehow be pure glass with some metal parts left for the power and volume rockers, but of course, these are just rumours from what we've heard so far.

Would you like to see Apple returning to their glass body design or perhaps something similar? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more Apple news at Technave.com.
