Welcome aboard to another rumour mill of the another Apple iPhone 8 speculation, today we picked up something that could potentially end up on the 10th Anniversary device, it's not the glossy body glass, nor the bezel-less design, but wireless charging.

As of right now, wireless charging requires the user to place the smartphone on a charging station, but Apple has other ideas, as they are planning to make a true wireless experience through charging, but how? Well, according to sources online, they are looking to integrate a transmitter that can connect to a module for the smartphone; once the user turns on the transmitter from the wall socket, the module will then charge the iPhone 8 within 15-feet distance.

To back up that rumour, there has been some suspicion that Apple is secretly working with Energous company on this wireless charging technology. In fact, Energous did mention that they are currently working with a "tier 1" smartphone manufacturer in the world. But then again, from the last time we heard of that statistic prior to the release of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, Samsung was the no.1 smartphone manufacturer.

While we should take this with a grain of salt, there's no denying that the idea of the wireless module-transmitter charging technology sounds cool. Until then, stay tuned for more news at Technave.com.
