A short video posted by the General Manager of TCL in America hints that Blackberry is going to announce their (possibly last) QWERTY smartphone during CES2017. The video in question shows a quick glimpse of the code-name Mercury smartphone, showing the classic physical keyboard.

Right now there is no confirmation on when or if Blackberry is having an event in CES itself, but we do know that the Blackberry Mercury is coming our way soon. It is said to have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, up to 3GB of RAM, the aforementioned physical QWERTY keyboard and a 3400 mAh battery. The screen on this phone is said to be a 4.5-inch display, with an unknown resolution thus far.

There is also the possibility of the phone featuring a combination spacebar/fingerprint scanner, as well as Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Will this be a phone to look forward to? Stay tuned to TechNave as we bring more news on the Blackberry Mercury from CES2017.
