Rumours: Blackberry working on three new models

A brand that many may have forgotten, Blackberry is reported in the midst of developing three new models that runs Android. Codenamed Neon, Argon and Mercury, the report states that the three models will be for three different price ranges.

The Neon is set to be a 5.2-inch mid-rage device that is without the physical keyboard. Set to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC and will have 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 2610mAh battery. Cameras will be 13MP and 8MP offerings. We can expect this device as early as July or August.

Second is the Argon, which will be bigger at 5.5-inch, and geared towards premium with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM, 32GB Storage, 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, 21 megapixel rear & 8 megapixel selfie cameras, and a fingerprint scanner. Expected to arrive sometime in October.

The last model is the Mercury, which will be the traditional model. It will have the Blackberry physical keyboard, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 3400 mAh battery, and a 18 megapixel/8 megapixel camera combo. It is said to be arriving sometime in 2017.
