Remember the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini? Believe it or not that was almost exactly three years ago since Samsung released a ‘mini’ version of their flagship handset. Today we have a leaked image on a Chinese website showing a possible Samsung Galaxy S8 Mini coming soon. A compact version of flagship big brother, the Samsung Galaxy S8.
The alleged Galaxy S8 Mini is supposedly being worked on at this moment in South Korea and will come with a 5.3-inch display but will most likely feel like a 4.7-inch screen due to an extra wide 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
Specs-wise, it was rumoured to rock a lower-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset with 4GB RAM and a storage capacity of 32GB. With compact sizes comes smaller chipsets, so no complaints there. It will also feature an iris eye reader which is something we have not seen on a Samsung device yet.
