Rumours: Exynos 9 teaser hints that the Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus or Note 8 may have a dual rear camera?

The official Samsung Exynos twitter recently tweeted a teaser image highlighting Dual ISP (Image Signal Processor) for their Exynos 9 chipset, indicating dual rear cameras. The Exynos 8895 is also part of this chipset and is slated to be used in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus (set to be announced near the end of the month). So does that mean that the Galaxy S8 could have surprise dual rear cameras, which so far according to all other leaks has not appeared at all? It might happen, but we're thinking that the Dual ISP and dual cameras would probably be coming for the Galaxy Note 8 as it would help differentiate it from the iris scanner packing Galaxy S8.

Dual ISPs are not something particularly new as Huawei already implemented that for their Huawei P9, Mate 9 and P10 smartphones. However, it is the first time that we'll be seeing such tech and dual cameras implemented in a flagship Samsung phone. Samsung have made no official statements as to whether the Galaxy S8 or Note 8 will be utilizing dual cameras or dual ISPs but stay tuned to TechNave.com and we'll keep you updated.
