Rumours: First Nokia Android phones to be priced around RM 660

Nokia is ramping up their mobile plans for 2017, and we may have indication on the price points of the smartphones when they appear early next year. Reports have stated that the Nokia-branded smartphones from HMD Global may be retailing as cheap as USD 150 (~RM 660) when it appears on retail stores.

The unveiling of the product may be sometime in February, at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona. One of the smartphone that will be launched will be the Nokia D1C, which is said will be launched in two variants – a 5-inch, full HD version with 2GB of RAM for USD 150 (~RM 650) and a larger version with a 5.5-inch Full HD screen and 3GB of RAM for USD 200 (~RM 880).

Other specs include a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 13-megapixel camera at the rear, and up to 32GB of internal storage. It may be retailing in both Gold and Black, with the Gold colour to feature a fingerprint sensor.
