Right after seeing the teaser on the upcoming Honor 8 smartphone, TENAA has supplied us a first looks of the upcoming dual-camera smartphone from the China brand. The tagline that is being used, “Beauty Out of the Ordinary”, fits nicely with the design that is seen in the leak.

As leaked, the Honor 8 will have a double-glass design – front and back – with a metal frame. It is a departure from Honor’s current stable of metal design, and fits nicely with the overall design of the phone. At the back of the phone, you can see the dual-camera module that is said is similar to the one in the Huawei P9 and the Honor V8, and the round fingerprint sensor.

For specs, Honor 8 will come with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, an octa-core Kirin 950 chip and multiple RAM/storage combo - 3GB / 32GB, 4GB / 32GB and 4GB / 64GB storage variants. The phone will come with Android 6 pre-installed and dual card dual standby support with an infrared port as well.

The expected price for the base model is around RMB 1999 (~RM 1220), so it is not too far off from its cousin the Honor V8 and the Huawei P9. We will update when it will be coming to Malaysia, right here on TechNave.
