If you are looking to get a new camera for your arsenal, this new updated photo maybe a deterrent or approval that you need for the brand. The upcoming Olympus E-PL8 looks to be a mixture of the Olympus E-M10II's design and the size of the E-PL7.
While the Sonly sensor problems in Kumamoto may delay the shipment of the camera, the launch is set to happen fairly soon. At this point of time we are not certain if the camera will feature the same sensor as the Olympus OMD E-M10II, or the bigger sensor from the Olympus OMD E-M1.
We are also expecting a new macro lens to be announced at the same time as the E-PL8 – the Olympus 30mm Macro lens. This lens will add more macro capabilities to the Olympus Micro Four-third lineup and strengthen their grip in the mirrorless marke.t
