Google’s next big release codenamed ‘Taimen’ has been spotted on Geekbench with an impressive score of 1804 on Single-Core and 6248 on Multi-Core tests.

Not much else has been revealed but it appears that the Taimen will have the following specs:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset
  • 4GB RAM
  • 6-inch display
  • Android O

Yes, the upcoming pixel will probably come with the latest Andoid OS, the Android O. Unfortunately, not much else is said about the OS so we will have to be patient.

Earlier on it was also speculated that Google is working on three separate Pixel phones codenamed – walleye, muskie and of course taimen. Perhaps the three pixel phones will be marketed with different screen sizes and battery capacities similar to what we have seen with last year’s Google Pixel and Pixel XL.

That’s all for now it seems but it’s always exciting to see what phones Google will come up. Stay tuned to TechNave.com for any news on the Malaysian release and any Malaysian pricings.
