Enjoying HTC’s beautiful, award winning HTC U11 and its near spotless camera along with its revolutionary Edge Sense function? Then you’re going to enjoy this.

Some concept renders have been circulating around the internet, showing what could very well be the next HTC flagship, the HTC U12.

Clearly the HTC U12 shares no design similarity at all with its predecessor, the HTC U11. It has more resemblance of that of the Samsung Galaxy S8 series' Infinity Display with its near bezel-less screen which packs a 5.7-inch 4K display.

The HTC U12 also appear to have dual-camera set ups for both the front and back cameras. No specs have been released for the main camera, but the front camera is speculated to house two 16MP cameras for that perfect selfie.

The back plate of the HTC U12 is reported to be fully metal, unlike the glassy U11. It will also house the mentioned dual-cameras as well as a dual led flash right next to the cameras. Both sides does not seem to have a fingerprint scanner so could we be looking at HTC’s first device using Qualcomm’s under display scanner? Very sneaky. On another note, could the HTC U12 also come with the Edge Sense function? With the success its been having it won't make sense for HTC to rule it out entirely.

Lastly, the alleged specs for the HTC U12 are note exactly over the top as it is expected to be rocking the Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. We are not expecting to see the return of the headphone jack but hey, at least there may be a nice set of JBL speakers positioned at the phone base.

Do take note that these are extremely early rumours so do take them with a pinch of salt. As far as we know most information we have now are very vague and no official leaks or announcements can be seen so far. However if we do smell any news of a Malaysian release or pricings, you can bet on TechNave.com to give you that first hand coverage.
