Joining the ranks of Samsung, Apple and ASUS – HTC is reported to launch their own smartwatch sometime this year. While the report states that originally the watch was to be launched with the HTC 10, it has been pushed back to a later date instead.
The report states that the HTC smartwatch should be utilizing the Android Wear operating system but other than that, no other information has been shared on the status of the device. HTC has some experience with wearables with the Under Armour Healthbox, but we will have to wait and see if this experience will translate to a wearable that will look nice and works properly.
