Honor Malaysia recently teased (and then retracted it) the new Honor 8 on their social media page. Now however there’s a new report that is somewhat comfirming that the Honor 8 is heading to our shores really soon.
Lowyat recently saw that a new entry by Huawei Malaysia listed the model number “FDR-L09” in SIRIM’s database, and a quick Google search says that this model is the new Honor 8. The entry did now tell us which storage option is coming to Malaysia, so we have to wait and see during their launch event.
As a recap, the Honor 8 comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen, plus a dual-12 MP camera setup on the back, with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera meanwhile is an 8 MP unit with f/2.4 aperture. The phone has up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. We have yet to receive any news on the local launch as of yet, so stay tuned to TechNave for more information on the Honor 8 soon.
