Just last month, Europe released the Honor V9 and it is also known as the Honor 8 Pro as the global model name. Now after weeks of waiting, it seems that the phone is finally coming into Malaysia after a tip we got from Mr Anonymous.
To recap the tech-specs, the Honor 8 Pro will feature:
- Kirin 960 processor
- 6GB RAM
- 64GB of internal storage (expandable memory available)
- Measures 157 x 77.5 x 6.97mm and weighs 184g
- 5.7-inch 2K or 1440 x 2560 resolution display
- 12MP dual rear cameras (one side is monochrome) / 8MP front camera,
- Features an infrared universal remote controller, USB Type-C port and a hybrid Dual SIM slot
- Supports 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth, and WiFi connectivity
- EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat
- 4000 mAh battery
We don’t exactly know when is the device officially landing in Malaysia, but we can be pretty sure that it’ll be soon since it has passed SIRIM certification. As for the price range, it should cost more than RM1699 (RRP) since it’s the Pro version. Perhaps RM2K more or less?
