Huawei represents the more well-known bunch of Chinese smartphone manufacturers and it stands to reason that eventually they'd come up with a design different from the normal run-of-the-mill plastic. Following in the footsteps of the HTC One and Nokia's Catwalk, Huawei is rumoured to have come out with the Huawei EDGE which features an awesome slim aluminum body.
From leaked pics released by french blog Nowhereelse, the Huawei EDGE almost looks chrome plated rather than just aluminum. Above all, it looks tough, durable and very premium. According to the blog, it also packs in some serious hardware including:
- A quad-core processor
- 2GB RAM
- 4.9-inch display (1080 x 1920 pixel resolution)
- 13MP camera
- 16GB / 32GB
- Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
- 2600 mAH battery
So far, no exact release date details have been revealed but it is expected to launch sometime in the second half of the year.
